Signal Hill advised Laureate Education in the acquisition of its 20% minority interest in Universidad Nacional Andrés Bello (UNAB). UNAB is one of the largest and most prestigious private universities in Chile. The university was granted autonomy by the Chilean Higher Education Authority in 1999. Today, UNAB has three campus locations: Casona de Las Condes, República, and Viña del Mar and the Center of Marine Investigations in Quintay, one of the principal areas of research in the country.
