Mr. Ager brings more than 25 years of investment banking experience to his client engagements with a primary focus on SaaS & Enterprise Application Software. He has completed more than 100 transactions representing over $8 billion in aggregate value.

Prior to Signal Hill, Mr. Ager was a Partner at Updata Advisors, joining the firm in 2005. Before joining Updata, Mr. Ager was the senior East Coast Technology Investment Banker at Wachovia Securities, Managing Director and Head of East Coast Software. Earlier, Mr. Ager spent ten years in Silicon Valley in various roles including as a principal in investment banking at Thomas Weisel Partners LLC, as well as roles of increasing responsibility with the Business Services Investment Banking Group at Montgomery Securities and the Technology Investment Banking Groups at Smith Barney and Morgan Stanley. Mr. Ager began his career with the mergers and acquisitions group at Morgan Grenfell in New York.

Mr. Ager received an M.B.A. from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and a B.A. in economics and political science from Yale University.
