Robert E. Patterson General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer
Mr. Patterson is General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer of Signal Hill. Before joining the Firm, he was Director of Global Compliance for Legg Mason, Inc. and General Counsel of Legg Mason’s broker-dealer subsidiary, Legg Mason Wood Walker, Inc. Earlier in his career, Bob was a Managing Director of Alex. Brown & Sons Incorporated and General Counsel of its Private Client Division. He also served as a Branch Chief in the SEC’s Division of Enforcement and as an Assistant District Attorney in Manhattan. Mr. Patterson has a BA in Mathematics from Boston College and a JD from Fordham Law School.
